Shianne and Ethan are the pinnacle of young love, they honestly sound like a story I would hear about in "vintage times". The two of them are long-time high school sweethearts. Ethan is in the military, and they knew soon he would called away, so they wouldn't be able to get married any time soon. They decided to jump the gun and have a small ceremony to get married before he needed to be shipped off, and have the big party traditional "wedding" a few years down the road when they got back!
They couldn't stand the idea of being separated so long. They couldn't be torn apart!
One of my favorite things about weddings is seeing families come together. Shianne's mom was so sweet, and was brought to tears at the ceremony! And you can see the emotion in Dad's eyes as he hugs his babies.
The ceremony was at a local church, and the reception was at the House of Hope next door! A friend of the couple is actually one of the founders of the House of Hope, which is a charity that takes care of kids who have had parents lost to suicide.
The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and gave off such a cute and homey feeling! There were cozy blankets, stuffed animals for the kids, and adorable signs encouraging love.
And of course these guys were gonna ruthless about the cake smashing!
It was such an honor to photograph their wedding, and I can't wait for their wedding celebration!
